On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, I wish our great country prosperity and the people health and happiness. Moreover, I extend heartfelt gratitude to friends from across Pakistan. They have long cared for and supported China. They have also contributed to the friendship between our two nations.
In 2025, the Communist Party of China led monumental achievements in advancing Chinese modernization. As a result, we took greater strides toward the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. New quality productive forces powered high-quality economic development. This progress provided more opportunities for the world. It also enabled constructive interplay between China’s development and global progress.
Additionally, China hosted the Commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. This event showed our resolve to safeguard peace and our confidence in national unity. At the same time, we pursued major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics. China hosted the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Tianjin. There, President Xi Jinping introduced the Global Governance Initiative. This initiative contributed Chinese wisdom and solutions to the world.
In 2025, the leaders of our two countries guided the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership into a new chapter. Accordingly, we maintained frequent high-level exchanges. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited China within the year. These visits deepened our brotherly ties and strengthened political mutual trust.
Following this, China and Pakistan signed the Action Plan to Foster an Even Closer China-Pakistan Community with a Shared Future in the New Era (2025–2029). This plan outlined a new blueprint for practical cooperation. Consequently, both sides agreed to build an upgraded version of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC 2.0). This version enhances connectivity for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
Moreover, we expanded cooperation in people-to-people exchanges, security, and defense. These efforts turned the vision of “good neighbors wish each other well” into reality. Each friendly visit, cooperation project, and signed document generated strong momentum. Together, these actions build a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era. They also reinforce our belief in the China-Pakistan relationship. This relationship rests on equality, respect, and mutual trust. It has deep historical roots and modern vitality. Without doubt, it will continue to bring lasting benefits to our two countries and peoples.
May our homeland be splendid. May our people live in peace. Let the friendship between China and Pakistan last forever.
