LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a show-cause notice to fast bowler Naseem Shah for allegedly breaching the terms of his central contract as well as the board’s media policy and regulations.
The action requires Naseem Shah to submit a response within a specified timeframe, after which the PCB will review the explanation and decide on any further disciplinary measures in accordance with its rules.

According to the PCB, the show-cause notice has been served under its established disciplinary framework, which governs player conduct, contractual obligations, and media interactions.
The board stated that any decision on the matter will be taken after carefully examining the player’s response.

Naseem Shah is currently representing Rawalpindi in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. The development comes during the tournament, where players remain subject to both league regulations and central contract conditions.
