CHITRAL: Paraglider and professional diver Asif Mahmood has died after an accident while paragliding in Boni, Chitral, his family confirmed on Thursday.
According to family members, Mahmood was involved in a paragliding accident in the area a day earlier. His body was recovered on Thursday after a search operation continued in the mountainous terrain.
Police sources said difficult weather conditions contributed to the challenges during the search and recovery operation. The accident occurred in a remote and rugged mountain area.
Mahmood was originally from Suraj Gali in the Khanpur area. His death has been confirmed by his family.
