A video of American wrestling legend and Hollywood actor John Cena responding to a Pakistani fan’s unusual question has gone viral on social media, drawing laughter and applause from the audience.

The video, widely shared on TikTok and other platforms, shows a Pakistani fan asking Cena whether he would ever consider becoming president of the United States. Cena smiled and replied briefly, saying he was now “retired” from politics.

The exchange took place during a question-and-answer session at an international event, where a young Pakistani fan, identified as Abu Huraira Khan, addressed Cena and praised his popularity in Pakistan.

The fan said that although WWE had never officially held an event in Pakistan, Cena’s message and popularity had continued to live in the hearts of Pakistani fans.

He then requested a special message for Pakistan before asking Cena whether he would ever think about running for US president. The question prompted laughter from Cena and applause from the hall.

Before responding to the political question, Cena thanked his Pakistani fans and said the young man was a strong representative of the appreciation he receives from supporters around the world.

Cena said he wanted to sincerely thank all his fans in Pakistan for their love and support.

The viral moment has attracted attention online, with Pakistani wrestling fans sharing clips of the interaction and praising Cena’s warm response.

John Cena, one of WWE’s most recognised stars, officially ended his in-ring wrestling career in December 2025 after more than two decades in professional wrestling, though he continues to appear at public events and fan engagements.
