A young Pakistani entrepreneur has turned significant physical challenges into a remarkable business journey, running a digital venture despite having extremely limited movement.
Abdul Mueed, who belongs to Lahore, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) at the age of seven. The genetic condition progressively weakened his muscles, and by the age of 10, he required a wheelchair.
According to Abdul Mueed, doctors had told his family that there was no cure for the condition and that he might not live beyond the age of 20.
His health condition later became more severe. In 2010, the disease affected his lungs, and he began requiring a ventilator to assist with breathing.
Now aged over 30, Abdul Mueed has extremely limited physical movement. However, he is still able to move one finger, which he uses to operate a computer and other technology.
He is the chairman of Amazing Gaming, where he uses his single movable finger to type, communicate with his team and manage various aspects of the business.
Despite the physical limitations imposed by his condition, Abdul Mueed continues to remain professionally active and oversees business objectives and other matters through digital technology.
His story has gained attention on social media, where many users have praised his determination, resilience and efforts to remain economically active despite the challenges he faces.
