Cadets from Pakistan’s College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (CEME) also secured first position among the international teams representing 11 participating countries, demonstrating their technical and engineering capabilities.
The event brought together cadets from military academies of 11 foreign countries, alongside representatives from 18 Chinese military academies, providing a platform for international collaboration, technical innovation and professional exchanges.
The Pakistani team presented an innovative project titled “Boxer Unmanned Ground Vehicle” in the competition’s Concept and Paper category.
The project highlighted the cadets’ expertise in unmanned ground systems and their ability to apply engineering concepts to emerging military technologies.
Teams from Myanmar, Azerbaijan, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Egypt and Vietnam were among the international participants competing in the event.
The competition provided military cadets from different countries with an opportunity to demonstrate technical knowledge, exchange ideas and showcase innovative projects related to military engineering and technology.
Pakistan’s performance placed its team ahead of all other international participants and second in the overall standings, earning the silver medal.
The achievement reflects the growing emphasis on technical education, innovation and emerging technologies in Pakistan’s military training institutions.
The cadets’ success at the international event also highlighted the role of specialised engineering education in developing practical solutions for modern defence requirements.
