Pakistan Stock Exchange Falls as KSE-100 Index Drops Over 1,400 Points

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange came under pressure on Wednesday as the KSE-100 Index recorded a sharp decline during intraday trading.

According to market updates, the benchmark KSE-100 Index fell by 1,443 points, bringing it down to 184,812 points during trading. Earlier in the session, the index touched an intraday low of 183,528 points, while its highest level of the day was recorded at 185,215 points.

The decline comes after the KSE-100 Index closed at 186,255 points in the previous trading session.

Meanwhile, the US dollar also moved slightly lower in the interbank market. The greenback declined by 3 paisa to reach Rs278.07, compared with the previous close of Rs278.10.
