Pakistan Railways has announced the schedule for two special trains to facilitate local Sikh and Hindu pilgrims travelling to annual religious celebrations in Nankana Sahib.

According to a Railways spokesperson, the special train service has been arranged as part of the department’s annual tradition of providing transportation facilities to pilgrims attending the religious events.

The first Sikh Special Train will operate from Hyderabad to Nankana Sahib on November 20, while the second train will travel from Nankana Sahib to Hyderabad on November 25. Two additional shuttle trains will also be operated to facilitate pilgrims.

The special train will pass through several stations, including Tando Adam, Shahdadpur, Nawabshah, Rohri, Ghotki, Khanewal, Faisalabad and Sheikhupura.

In addition, Pakistan Railways will operate two special shuttle trains between Larkana and Rohri on November 20 and 26.

Railway officials said the initiative represents an important step towards providing better travel facilities to members of the country’s minority communities and ensuring convenient transportation for pilgrims attending religious celebrations.
