PAKISTAN NAVY SCORES A MASSIVE DRUG BUST WORTH 130 MILLION USD IN ARABIAN SEA

Islamabad – Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) TABUK intercepted a suspicious dhow in the Arabian Sea during a Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP) and in support of the Saudi-led Combined Task Force (CTF-150) under the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF). The operation led to the seizure of more than 2,000 kilograms of methamphetamine (ICE), with an estimated regional wholesale value of $130 million.

Third Successful Interdiction in Two Months

This marks the third consecutive successful counter-narcotics interdiction by Pakistan Navy ships within the past two months. Officials noted that the operations highlight the Navy’s continued resolve to combat illicit trafficking at sea.

Multinational Coordination Under CMF

The scale and execution of the operation underscored both Pakistan Navy’s operational professionalism and the effectiveness of multinational collaboration under CMF. The interdiction reflects the importance of coordinated maritime security efforts in regional waters.

Pakistan Navy reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding national maritime interests and upholding the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
