Pakistan Army has carried out air and ground operations targeting militant positions and ammunition depots along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border as part of an ongoing security campaign aimed at preventing cross-border attacks.

Security sources said Pakistani forces struck a militant post in the Shawal area near South Waziristan, forcing fighters to abandon the position before it was destroyed using explosives.

Officials said the military has also conducted strikes against suspected militant hideouts and infrastructure believed to be used for planning or supporting cross-border attacks.

In a separate operation in Afghanistan’s Paktika province, security sources said Pakistani forces destroyed an ammunition depot located at the Shahin Base, which they said had been used to store weapons and supplies.

The operations are part of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, an ongoing campaign targeting militant groups along the border region.

Security officials said the operation involves coordinated ground and aerial actions aimed at disrupting militant activity and dismantling infrastructure used by extremist groups.

Authorities said the operation will continue as security forces pursue remaining targets and attempt to prevent further militant infiltration or attacks across the border.
