Pakistan and the Netherlands have agreed to hold a cricket series next year. Federal Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, met with the Dutch Ambassador, Henny de Vries, during which they discussed promoting cricket between the two countries. An agreement was reached to organize a cricket series next year.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations, and cooperation in various fields were also discussed. On this occasion, Henny de Vries stated that the Netherlands cricket team will tour Pakistan next year and play matches with the A team.
The Interior Minister emphasized the need for sustainable measures to strengthen bilateral relations, assuring full support for the promotion of cricket in the Netherlands. Mohsin Naqvi added that Pakistan has hosted Afghan refugees for several decades and is currently implementing a comprehensive policy for the return of Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan illegally.
