Pakistan ambassador visits Ramadan Iftar tent organized by Pakistani business group in Dubai

DUBAI — Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Shafqat Ali Khan, visited a Ramadan Iftar tent organized by Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism at Port Rashid in Dubai, where daily meals are being served to hundreds of people throughout the holy month.

The community initiative, which provides free Iftar meals during Ramadan, has been organized by the Pakistani business group for the third consecutive year. The effort is aimed at supporting residents and visitors by offering a shared space for breaking the fast and community engagement.

During the visit, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan distributed food boxes among attendees and interacted with people present at the tent. He also joined participants for prayers and shared the Iftar meal with them.

The ambassador commended Dr. Zafar Tahir Rizvi, Chief Executive Officer of Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism, and the company’s management for organizing the initiative. He said such efforts highlight the positive role played by Pakistani businesses in the UAE in supporting community welfare.

Khan also acknowledged the support provided by the Government of Dubai authorities in facilitating the establishment of the Iftar tent at Port Rashid.

The Iftar tent operates daily during Ramadan, serving hundreds of meals and bringing together people from different communities in Dubai.
