OPPO partners with Peshawar Zalmi as official technology partner for HBL PSL 11

LAHORE — OPPO has partnered with Peshawar Zalmi as the official technology partner for HBL PSL 11, marking a new collaboration between the global smartphone brand and one of Pakistan’s leading cricket franchises.

The partnership aims to connect with cricket fans and young consumers during the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), using digital campaigns and fan engagement initiatives built around technology and sport.

In a statement issued on March 2, 2026, OPPO said the collaboration reflects its strategy to strengthen engagement with Pakistan’s youth and cricket audiences. The company highlighted its focus on mobile imaging, artificial intelligence integration, performance and battery technology.

As part of the campaign, OPPO will promote its recently launched Reno15 Series in Pakistan. The Reno15 Pro features a 200MP 3.5x telephoto camera, while the Reno15 includes a 50MP camera system. The devices also offer up to 120x zoom and 4K video recording, along with AI-powered editing tools designed to enhance content creation.

Mr. Lin Zhan, Chief Marketing Officer at OPPO Pakistan, said cricket provides a strong platform to engage with fans nationwide. He added that the partnership reflects shared values of performance and innovation.

Javed Afridi, Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi, welcomed the collaboration, saying the franchise aims to align with global brands that emphasize innovation and community engagement.

Beyond tournament-related activities, both organizations said they plan to collaborate on corporate social responsibility initiatives and youth development programs throughout the year.

HBL PSL 11 is expected to attract significant national and international viewership, making brand partnerships a key component of team marketing strategies during the tournament season.
