UPPER DIR: Sub-Divisional Education Officer (SDEO) Dir Zakir Hussain has directed teachers to take proactive steps to increase student enrollment and reduce dropout rates across schools in Upper Dir.
He made these remarks during a meeting with teachers from the Chkiatan circle, which was attended by Additional Sub-Divisional Education Officer (ASDEO) Saifuddin, School Leader Rahmat Khan, Circle Incharge Sirajuddin and headmasters of the circle.
Zakir Hussain said the provincial government, along with the District Education Officer Upper Dir, has launched an enrollment campaign aimed at bringing more children into schools. He emphasized the importance of enrolling out-of-school children and ensuring that students remain in the education system.
He urged teachers to actively promote the message of “education for all” and work to maximize student enrollment during the current academic year.
The SDEO also instructed school heads to maintain accurate and updated school records and remain in regular contact with the education office to help improve administrative coordination.
He assured teachers that the education department would provide full support in resolving administrative issues and strengthening the education system in the district.
