Pakistan’s showbiz superstar Mahira Khan has said that no successful person in the world can ever be truly “self-made,” and the term itself is a myth.
A short video of Mahira discussing the concept of being “self-made” and the importance of family and friends’ support has gone viral on social media. In the video, she emphasizes how essential the support of loved ones is in achieving success.
At the conclusion of an event, Mahira was asked to elaborate on her remarks about family and friends’ assistance during her speech. Speaking to social media representatives, Mahira reiterated, “There is no such thing as being ‘self-made.’ It’s a phrase that may sound nice, but it has no basis in reality.”
The actress stated that her success today is largely due to the help of her parents, the support of her brother, her son, and her friends.
According to Mahira, her achievements are also a result of the encouragement she received from her colleagues, coworkers, and new connections she made along the way. She firmly believes that the concept of being “self-made” is a misconception.
