Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday hit out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying no development projects were completed during the party’s “blackest” era.
Expressing his thoughts, Iqbal said, “All development projects that were supposed to uplift the masses were closed during the tenure of the PTI-led government.”
Iqbal said, “I have no idea where the budget went and where it was spent.”
“The country did not witness any stability during the tenure of PTI founder,” he said.
He expressed optimism about the current situation in the country and said, “Now the country is once again ready to witness prosperity.”
Iqbal claimed, “The government has started a development project in the name of Uranian Pakistan.”
Separately, a few days ago Iqbal said that now there would be no place for anarchy to reign in the country again.
Expressing his thoughts, Iqbal stated, “No country is richer than Pakistan, but anarchy, unrest and political instability have failed the country.”
“There is no scope for conducting a negative experiment in the country,” Iqbal said.
The minister termed the ‘Uraan Pakistan’ initiative as a “game changer” for the country.
Stressing the need to embrace unity in the country, Iqbal said, “Everyone must unite to give the country’s economy a fresh start.”
He admitted that the country has enormous wealth of resources.
