LAHORE: The National Institute of Public Policy (NIPP), a constituent unit of the National School of Public Policy (NSPP), hosted a book talk on the autobiography Jo Mujh Se Ho Saka by journalist and human rights advocate Hussain Naqi.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by opening remarks from Dr. Naveed Elahi, Dean NIPP. He noted that writings grounded in personal observation and lived experience help trace the country’s social and political developments.

NSPP Rector Dr. Muhammad Jamil Afaqi welcomed participants and spoke about Hussain Naqi’s professional journey, referring to his long association with journalism and civic engagement.

Several speakers presented their views on the book, including Farrukh Sohail Goindi, Tariq Najeeb Najmi, Salman Abid, Salman Ghani and Chaudhry Khadim Hussain.
They discussed the themes of the autobiography and Naqi’s experiences documented in the narrative.

A book fair was also arranged, with publishers and authors displaying their work for attendees.
