LOWER DIR: Speakers at the inauguration ceremony of the newly expanded three-storey building of Niaz Traders in the Talash area of Lower Dir have described the investment as a positive development for local business and economic activity.
The ceremony was held at the central market of Ziarat Talash to mark the relocation and expansion of the business owned by renowned trader Haji Niaz Bahadur Khan.
Addressing the gathering, religious scholar and preacher Maulana Qari Saeedullah, President of Anjuman Tahaffuz Tajaran Talash Bazaar Dr Noor Muhammad, Ghulam Rashid Advocate, former chairman Noor Ahmed Jan, Al-Hajj Sher Hassan Khan, former chairman Sardar Dawood Khan, Shad Muhammad, Muhammad Rashad Roghani, political and social youth leader Fazal Wahab Swati and others said the expansion represented a positive step for the local economy.
The speakers said further investment in the business could benefit residents by making a wider range of everyday necessities available locally at reasonable prices, reducing the need for people to travel to major cities such as Lahore and Karachi for certain purchases.
They also said the expansion could create additional employment opportunities for local residents and contribute to commercial activity in the Talash area.
The speakers described lawful business and halal earnings as an important form of livelihood and worship, while terming the investment by Niaz Traders a positive sign for the development and prosperity of the area.
They also encouraged further investment in local businesses, saying increased commercial activity could contribute to economic opportunities and community development in Lower Dir.
