LOWER DIR: Jan Restaurant and Fish Point has been inaugurated at Osakai on the Peshawar-Chitral main highway in Lower Dir, with speakers describing the facility as a potential source of quality food, tourism services and employment for local youth.
Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Muzaffar Syed Advocate expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the newly established restaurant and fish point.
Speakers at the event welcomed the choice of Osakai as the location, describing it as a scenic spot that could attract tourists and visitors travelling along the important highway.
They also highlighted the area’s potential for future economic activity, noting that the route could gain further significance if the proposed CPEC connection toward Central Asia passes through the region.
Focus on Tourism and Local Employment
Speakers said the new restaurant could provide a convenient stop for tourists and visitors travelling to and from different parts of the district and the wider region.
They also expressed hope that the management would maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while providing quality food and hospitality.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior educationist and retired principal Muhammad Hafeezullah, Muzaffar Syed Advocate, Maulana Imranullah Haqqani, restaurant owner Wasim Jan and others.
The guests jointly cut the ribbon to formally open the facility, followed by prayers for its success and for the development, prosperity and peace of the country.
