Pakistani actress Neelam Muneer’s husband, Mohammad Rashid, hails from the city of Mianwali, Pakistan. At the start of the new year, Neelam shared pictures of her wedding in Dubai, which went viral on social media.
In an interview with a private media channel, Neelam’s brother-in-law, Samar Ranjha, revealed that Rashid, known to friends as Shahid, has been living in Dubai since 2006, where he runs a travel and tourism business along with 3 to 4 restaurants. Samar shared that Neelam and Rashid first met at a restaurant in Dubai, after which they started talking on Snapchat. Their bond grew over two to two and a half years, leading to their marriage.
Samar also mentioned that the wedding and reception were held in Dubai, with family members in attendance. Neelam gifted him a gold chain and a mobile phone during the ceremony, while he gave her a bracelet worth 8 to 9 lakh Pakistani rupees. Additionally, Rashid and Neelam plan to hold another reception in Mianwali upon their return to Pakistan.
Samar spoke highly of both, mentioning that Rashid and Neelam earn well, and that Neelam is a kind person. He also keeps in touch with her family.
Previously, YouTuber Yasir Shami had shared details about Neelam’s husband, claiming he works in the CID department of Dubai Police. According to Yasir, a police officer with 2-3 years of experience earns around 13,000 dirhams (about 10 lakh Pakistani rupees), while officers with 5-8 years of experience can earn between 13,000 to 18,000 dirhams (13 to 14 lakh rupees). Officers with 8-10 years of experience make up to 22,000 dirhams (16 to 17 lakh rupees).
