LAHORE: PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has decided to start his political activities again, reported Dunya News. According to details, the three-time prime minister will start political activities from next week. The elder Sharif will hold meetings at the Model Town Secretariat every day from Monday, sources said. Nawaz Sharif will meet party leaders at the Model Town Secretariat to discuss the political situation. Sources added that government performance and other party matters will be discussed at the meetings. It was earlier reported that Nawaz Sharif is expected to visit the UK at the end of this month. The source said Sharif will hold meetings with foreign political and business figures during his visit. In addition, PML-N President will address the workers and officials. He is also scheduled to undergo a medical examination during the trip. It is worth mentioning here that Nawaz Sharif was elected President of PML-N unopposed in the party’s General Assembly held in May 2024. Sharif became the head of the party after six years when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif resigned on 11 May 2024.
