National T20 Cup to begin in Peshawar on March 7

PESHAWAR — The Pakistan Cricket Board’s National T20 Cup will begin on March 7 at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar, with tournament preparations completed and teams set to compete in the domestic competition.

According to the schedule released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the event will feature 23 matches played between March 7 and March 18. Two matches will be held daily, with the first starting at 4:15 p.m. and the second at 9:15 p.m.

The tournament will include 10 regional teams from across Pakistan, divided into two groups.

Group A features Lahore Whites, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Karachi Whites and Bahawalpur. Group B includes defending champions Lahore Blues along with Sialkot, Multan, Abbottabad and Karachi Blues.

Officials say the National T20 Cup provides an important platform for domestic players to showcase their talent and compete at a high level within Pakistan’s cricket structure.

The matches will take place at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar, where fans are expected to attend and watch teams compete in the short-format tournament.
