The wedding celebrations of Pakistan’s all-rounder Muhammad Wasim Junior have begun after he recently tied the knot in Makkah.
The 23-year-old all-rounder, who quietly entered into marriage last year, is now preparing to bring his bride home.
On photo and video-sharing platform Instagram, the national cricketer shared beautiful images from his mehndi and dholki ceremonies.
In the shared pictures and videos, Wasim Junior is seen wearing a green kurta and pajama for the mehndi ceremony.
From the viral pictures and videos on various social media pages, it has been revealed that the name of Wasim Junior’s bride is Asma.
The mehndi and dholki ceremony, held in Islamabad, was attended by the cricketer’s family and close relatives.
In a viral video, glimpses of the cricketer’s decorated home can also be seen, adorned with electric lights, while yellow and green colors are prominent in the decoration, along with an abundance of marigold flowers.
While sharing a post on social media, Wasim Junior only mentioned the date of the mehndi ceremony, which took place on January 29, 2025.
After the images and videos surfaced on social media, his teammates and fans began sending well wishes and congratulations to the couple.
It is worth noting that Muhammad Wasim Junior, who was injured last year, has represented Pakistan in all three formats of international cricket.
Having made his debut in 2021 against the West Indies in a T20 match, Wasim Junior claimed his first wicket in the very same match, dismissing Chris Gayle.
