The “Solidarity of the Armed Forces and Defense of Pakistan Seminar” organized by Ittehad-e-Ahle-e-Sunnah Pakistan was held with great pomp and ceremony at the Press Club, Abbottabad. Representatives of all schools of thought, leaders of the country’s religious and political parties, journalists, business community, dignitaries of religious schools and universities, teachers, and imams of mosques, as well as prominent figures from different sections of society, participated in this important national program. The seminar was presided over by Maulana Habib-ur-Rehman, President of Ittehad-e-Ahle-e-Sunnah Pakistan. The participants paid tribute to the sacrifices, bravery, and unparalleled role of the Pakistani Armed Forces in the defense of the country and emphasized that the entire nation stands by the Pakistani Armed Forces along with its religious leadership.

The speakers said that the role played by Pakistan’s land, naval and air forces in protecting the dignity and integrity of the beloved homeland is a bright chapter in history. It was reiterated in the seminar that all religious schools, religious and political parties, and the general public are in complete solidarity with the Pakistani armed forces and are united and determined to protect the country’s security, stability and ideological borders. The officials of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabiya Pakistan, Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Pakistan, Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Salafiya Pakistan, and Rabat-ul-Madaris Pakistan were present on the occasion. The seminar was addressed by Maulana Habib-ur-Rehman, Maulana Sarfaraz Farooqi, Maulana Syed Yaqub Shah, Maulana Hameed-ur-Rehman, Maulana Abdul Waheed, Maulana Jafar Tayyar Awan, Maulana Abid Salafi, Maulana Ahmed Al-Hussaini, Maulana Saeed-ur-Rehman, Mufti Muhammad Arshad, Maulana Towhid, Maulana Sher Muhammad, Maulana Hussain Ali, Maulana Yasin, Qari Osama Hanif, Kashif Khan, General Secretary Abbottabad Press Club Raja Munir Khan.

The seminar was attended by scholars and leaders from different walks of life. At the end of the program, all schools of thought reiterated their resolve to stand united in defense of the beloved homeland, national unity, and support for the armed forces of Pakistan. A clear message of national security was given in the seminar and the Pakistani armed forces were assured of public trust and full support.
