Supporters of former actress Nargis held a protest at Chairing Cross, demanding an apology from actress Abida Usmani for the accusations she made. Nargis, seeking guidance on the matter, also obtained a religious decree from scholars.
Recently, former stage actress Nargis faced severe domestic abuse from her husband, leading to legal action. As the case unfolded, various allegations emerged. However, a few days ago, film and TV actress Abida Usmani leveled serious accusations against Nargis, using her past as a weapon to question her religious practices and even curse her.
Nargis found Abida Usmani’s remarks deeply offensive and decided to consult religious scholars. Considering the seriousness of the matter and the viral video, Nargis reached out to renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil and the Darul Iftaa of Jamia Naeemia for guidance. Both Maulana Tariq Jamil and Jamia Naeemia condemned Abida Usmani’s allegations and statements. The scholars emphasized that acts of worship are solely between an individual and Allah, who alone accepts them, and warned that making such accusations is a sin.
