Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Saudi Interior Minister Dr Khalid Muhammad Abdullah Al Battal on Sunday.
Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister Dr Khalid Mohammed Abdullah Al Battal and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq.
Mutual interests and Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations were discussed in detail during the meeting.
Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia for the award of FIFA World Cup 2034 and wished them well for the event.
He said that Saudi Arabia is a brotherly Muslim nation and Pakistan’s most trusted friend, adding that Pakistan is proud of this friendship.
The Interior Minister further said that Saudi Arabia has shown unconditional love and loyalty to Pakistan.
He also praised Mohsin Naqvi’s vision of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which paves the way for development and prosperity by 2030.
The Saudi Interior Minister said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy close and friendly relations.
During the visit of the Minister of Interior, he expressed the hope that the important meeting with the officials of Saudi Arabia will further develop the relationship between the two countries.
