ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to inquire about his well-being and wish him good health. The two leaders discussed matters of common interest, the overall situation in the country. Besides, they exchanged views on measures to bring peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in the Kurram region. They also expressed satisfaction over the arrival of relief convoys in Kurram. The Minister of Interior said that all parties involved have been given confidence in the establishment of peace in the region. He said that some elements deliberately distorted the Kurram issue. Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the sincere efforts of the Grand Jirga to improve the situation in the area. He said that he has a long-standing relationship with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and appreciated his positive role in Pakistani politics.
