Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, and the Balochistan Corps Commander Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan on Sunday visited injured police personnel at Combined Military Hospital Quetta, officials said.
The visit followed recent security incidents in the province and focused on the welfare of officers wounded while responding to attacks. Officials said the leaders reviewed the condition of the injured and met medical staff overseeing their treatment.
During the visit, Naqvi praised the injured officers for their response during the attacks and said their actions helped prevent further damage. Bugti also commended the personnel, saying their efforts had contributed to maintaining stability in Balochistan and that the provincial government stood with them.
Officials briefed on recovery
Hospital authorities briefed the visiting officials on the medical condition and recovery plans of the injured officers. The delegation assured continued support for their treatment and rehabilitation.
The injured personnel, according to officials, expressed determination to resume duty after recovery and reiterated their commitment to countering militancy.
Balochistan has faced a series of security challenges in recent months, and authorities have said coordinated measures are being taken to support frontline personnel and strengthen law enforcement capacity across the province.
