ISLAMABAD, October 10, 2026: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has outlined the validity periods and processing timelines for various identity documents, including B-Forms, juvenile cards, national identity cards, Smart NICs and certificates.

According to the announced schedule, processing times vary depending on the document type and the service category selected: normal, urgent or executive. Eligibility and validity periods also differ by document.

B-Form

The B-Form is issued to children under 18 through their parents or legal guardians.

  • Validity: Three stages, covering the ages of up to three years, up to 10 years and up to 18 years.

  • Normal processing: 7 days.

  • Executive processing: 1 day.

  • Urgent service: Not available.

Juvenile Card

The Juvenile Card is available to children under 18, with a validity structure similar to the B-Form.

  • Normal processing: 31 days.

  • Urgent processing: 23 days.

  • Executive processing: 9 days.

National Identity Card and Smart NIC

These documents are issued to individuals aged 18 and above. Their stated validity is 10 years, while cards issued to people aged 60 and above are valid for life, according to the provided schedule.

Regular National Identity Card:

Smart National Identity Card:
