In Lower Dir a meeting was held regarding the Eid-ul-Adha plan under the public agenda of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur. Under the public agenda of the Chief Minister, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Dir Lower Bashir Khan regarding the Eid-ul-Adha plan. The heads and representatives of all the concerned departments attended the meeting. On this occasion, Additional DC Bashir Khan gave instructions and said that during the days of Eid, doctors and paramedics should be on duty in all hospitals.
The in-charge of the hospitals should ensure the duties of doctors and health staff. Assistant Commissioners / Additional Assistant Commissioners should inspect public parks and check the fitness of all swings, and all the tools for children’s walks and entertainment. In addition, special instructions should be issued to the managers / staff of public parks to ensure the safety of children and youth visiting the park. Traffic police should arrange a special traffic plan with Eidgahs and public parks. Immediate action should be taken against those who use one-wheelers during Eid days. He said that Rescue 1122 will perform duties in all hospitals and sub-divisions of Dir during Eid days. A comprehensive strategy should be formulated to provide facilities to the citizens. Police should ensure security of all public places, mosques, Eidgahs and prepare a security plan. Action should be taken against shopkeepers selling firecrackers. All T. M. O.s should conduct a special cleaning campaign in bazaars, streets, hospitals, Eidgahs and tourist places. All possible facilities should be provided to tourists. The Forest Department should issue guidelines for the protection of forests to tourists visiting tourist places. Additional Deputy Commissioner Bashir Khan, while issuing special instructions to all TMEs, said that special care should be taken for cleanliness on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and animal excrement should be disposed of at designated places. All Assistant Commissioners were instructed to nominate temporary cattle market points on the occasion of Eid and instructions were issued to the Livestock Department to take steps to prevent the spread of Congo virus. On this occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner issued necessary instructions to the officers of other concerned departments to discharge their responsibilities in an efficient manner regarding Eid-ul-Adha so that possible facilities can be provided to the public. Rotational duties of the staff should be imposed during the days of Eid.
