LOWER DIR: The annual convocation 2026 of Musrat Shaukat College of Nursing was held in Timergara, headquarters of Lower Dir, with large participation from students, faculty members and parents.
The ceremony marked the graduation of nursing students, with certificates and honorary shields awarded to those who demonstrated outstanding academic performance.
Addressing the gathering, former Director General Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Shaukat Ali, who also serves as Chief Executive of the college, described the nursing profession as the backbone of the healthcare system. He said the institution is committed to providing quality education in line with modern requirements to produce skilled and competent nurses for the province.
Dr. Shaukat Ali congratulated the graduating students and expressed hope that they would fulfill their professional responsibilities with integrity and dedication.
Former Provincial Finance Minister Muzaffar Syed Advocate and retired District Public Health Officer Lower Dir Engineer Bashir Ahmed also addressed the ceremony, highlighting the importance of professional training and service in the health sector.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and shields, marking another academic milestone for the college.
