KARACHI, PAKISTAN — Muhammad Yasin, FCMA, has assumed charge as President of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan).
Yasin is a senior finance professional and currently serves as Group Chief Financial Officer of The Superior Group. His professional experience spans multiple sectors, including textiles, oil and gas, media, aviation, supply chain and education.

He has previously served as Vice President and Honorary Treasurer of ICMA Pakistan, as well as Chairman of its Research and Publications Committee. His association with the Institute also includes leading the Lahore Branch Council and serving on the National Council.
Yasin is a fellow of ICMA Pakistan, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), UK, and the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA). He has also served as President of PIPFA’s Board of Governors and holds the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) distinction from Toastmasters International, USA.
At the regional level, he has been associated with the South Asian Federation of Accountants’ Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability and Governance.
With his new role, Yasin is expected to focus on strengthening professional education, enhancing members’ capabilities and expanding ICMA Pakistan’s engagement with industry.
