During the visit, Assistant Commissioner Chakwal Zeeshan Sharif Qaisrani, along with representatives from the Highway Department, Municipal Committee, and Rawalpindi Waste Management Company, accompanied him. He inspected key drainage points to ensure there were no obstructions to the flow of rainwater and to prevent flood-like situations in urban areas.

He directed the concerned municipal staff to ensure proper cleanliness and drainage, and to remain fully alert to handle any potential emergency situation. On this occasion, Muhammad Shehab Aslam stated, “The safety and convenience of the public during the monsoon is our top priority. All departments must work in coordination to prevent any kind of disruption or difficulty.”

He also met with local residents, listened to their concerns, and assured them that effective measures would be taken immediately. The Additional Deputy Commissioner appealed to the public to refrain from dumping waste near drains and to cooperate with the administration in keeping the city clean and safe.
