ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Ibrahim Mahtab, a fourth-grade student of Islamabad Convent School (H-8 Campus), has secured first position in the International Kangaroo Linguistics Contest 2025, marking his ninth consecutive medal in Kangaroo competitions.
The achievement highlights his consistent performance across multiple international academic contests. In addition to topping the linguistics contest, Ibrahim also secured first position at the school level and second position across the district.
Consistent performance in international contests
Over the past three years, Ibrahim has earned medals in several global competitions, including the International Kangaroo Science Contest 2023, International Kangaroo Linguistics Contest 2023, International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest 2024, and International Linguistics Contest 2024.

Muhammad Ibrahim Mahtab is the grandson of noted religious scholar and Naat poet Bashir Hussain Nazim, and the son of Mahtab Bashir, a senior reporter at Dunya News.
