Islamabad — Ms. Rabia Naseem Farooqi, a Member of the National Assembly, has assumed charge as Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Government of Pakistan, according to an official notification.

Her appointment places her in a key parliamentary role supporting oversight and coordination on education and professional training policies at the federal level. As parliamentary secretary, Ms. Farooqi will assist the ministry in advancing reforms focused on improving access to education, enhancing quality standards, and strengthening governance across the sector.

Officials said the appointment aligns with the government’s stated priority of reinforcing education policy through parliamentary engagement and institutional support.

Ms. Farooqi expressed her commitment to working closely with relevant stakeholders to advance the national education agenda in line with government objectives.
