Peshawar: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding online membership registration was signed between the Housing Foundation and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board on Tuesday at the Civil Secretariat Peshawar, in the presence of the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Housing, Dr. Amjad Ali, and the Special Assistant for Science and Technology, Shafqat Ayaz.
On this occasion, Dr. Amjad Ali, the Special Assistant, said that the provincial government, keeping in mind the housing needs of employees, will provide plots through the Housing Foundation in various government housing schemes that are ongoing under the Housing Authority and in new upcoming schemes. He further stated that government employees will be provided plots based on their scales through easy installment plans. The primary objective of this foundation is to provide plots to government employees without profit or loss. He added that today is a pleasant day for all provincial government employees who have longed for their own homes, as their long-awaited dream is about to be true.
The Special Assistant said that Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, envisions introducing residential projects in the province that are in line with modern-day requirements and ensure that residents face no difficulties. On this occasion, the Special Assistant also thanked the media present at the event and expressed hope that the media will give full support to such schemes. Earlier, the Managing Director of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board, Mohammad Aqif Khan, gave a detailed briefing on the Housing Foundation’s project.
