KARACHI, October 8, 2026: Brescia Lions has announced its acquisition by Mohammad Asif Nadeem ahead of the upcoming Italy T10 League, marking a new chapter for the franchise as it prepares for the international tournament.
The official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on October 8 at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Karachi Airport, formalising the partnership between Brescia Lions and the Italy T10 League.
The signing ceremony was attended by Aamir Akhtar, Founder and Chairman of the Italy T10 League, along with representatives and stakeholders from both sides.
As the franchise’s new owner, Mohammad Asif Nadeem will lead Brescia Lions into the upcoming competition, with a vision to build a competitive team, nurture emerging cricketing talent and contribute to the development of cricket in Italy.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen the franchise’s position in the expanding international T10 cricket landscape, creating opportunities for players and cricket professionals while introducing the team to a broader audience.
The Italy T10 League is scheduled to take place in Rome from November 18 to 29, 2026. Six teams are set to compete in the tournament.
Brescia Lions expressed confidence in its new leadership and said the franchise would approach the upcoming competition with ambition, professionalism and a commitment to representing the team with pride.
