Mobilink Bank graduates 18 women-led startups under WIN incubator

ISLAMABAD, April 22, 2026Mobilink Bank has graduated 18 women-led startups under its Women Inspirational Network (WIN) Incubator, an initiative aimed at supporting female entrepreneurs through training, mentorship and access to financial tools.

The Mobilink Bank WIN incubator programme focuses on equipping participants with skills in digital entrepreneurship, financial literacy and business development, contributing to efforts to expand women’s participation in Pakistan’s economy.

The graduation ceremony, held in Islamabad, was attended by Wajiha Qamar and representatives from public and private sector organisations.

Startup awards and funding

At the event, Green Plastics received the Best Startup Award along with PKR 1 million in seed funding for its solution converting potato peels into recyclable bags.

Ecogen and EcoFlow were recognised as winners of the innovation challenge, each receiving PKR 500,000 in seed funding for projects focused on food waste management and affordable sanitary solutions.

Programme impact

Officials said the latest cohort brings the total number of startups graduated under the programme to 31. Many of the participating ventures focus on sustainability and social impact, addressing issues such as plastic waste, food waste and access to hygiene products.

Focus on entrepreneurship and inclusion

The programme is part of broader efforts to support women entrepreneurs by providing access to training, mentorship and digital financial services. Stakeholders noted that such initiatives can contribute to inclusive economic growth and innovation.
