Islamabad – November 26, 2025: Mobilink Bank, Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance institution, has entered a strategic partnership with IMARAT Group to expand access to affordable housing finance and accelerate the shift toward technology-driven banking and real estate services.

Housing Crisis Drives Urgency for Scalable, Affordable Finance

Pakistan faces an acute housing shortage of nearly 12 million units, according to World Bank estimates. Rising prices, declining affordability, and higher mortgage rates have pushed low-income families further away from home ownership. Mobilink Bank aims to bridge this gap through inclusive, customer-centric housing finance.
The partnership with IMARAT will digitize the entire mortgage journey, enhance transparency, and streamline home financing for shared customers and employees.

Digital Mortgage Journey Introduced Through Propmex.ai

Under the collaboration, IMARAT’s Propmex.ai platform will enable customers to complete full digital onboarding for housing finance. API integration between IMARAT and Mobilink Bank will allow seamless property verification, while Mobilink Bank’s Mortgage Calculator will be embedded across IMARAT’s digital ecosystem for real-time affordability assessment.

Employee Banking Suite Extended to IMARAT Workforce

Mobilink Bank will onboard IMARAT employees into its digital Employee Banking Suite, offering salary accounts, insurance, digital banking tools, and preferential financial benefits.
Employees will also gain access to exclusive financing options—including House Finance, Personal Loans, and Solar/EV Loans—to promote financial security and sustainable living.

Strengthening Corporate Banking and Digital Payments Ecosystem

IMARAT will establish corporate banking accounts with Mobilink Bank and maintain strong current account balances to foster mutual growth.
To support digital financial inclusion, Mobilink Bank will install ATMs and Cash Deposit Machines at IMARAT’s commercial projects and deploy Point-of-Sale machines across its malls and retail outlets, strengthening Pakistan’s digital payments landscape.

Leaders Highlight Shared Vision for Financial Inclusion

Mobilink Bank’s Chief Business Officer, Atta-ur-Rehman, said the collaboration reflects the bank’s mission to empower underserved communities through technology-enabled financing and digital tools.
IMARAT Group Chairman Shafiq Akbar emphasized that the partnership will help digitize the real estate sector and simplify home ownership for families across Pakistan.
