Islamabad: The Ministry of Religion and Interfaith Harmony has announced arrangements to distribute Zamzam water among pilgrims using the government scheme.
The ministry has made all airlines responsible through an agreement to facilitate the pilgrims at designated points to collect Zamzam water.
Four airlines including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi Arabia, SereneAir and AirSial will fly pilgrims to Pakistan.
Pilgrims are asked to collect holy water from their respective airports and pack it with their luggage.
Apart from Quetta and Sukkur, the ministry has decided that pilgrims traveling by PIA will collect Zamzam water from Jeddah and Madinah airports.
Quetta and Sukkar pilgrims who traveled with PIA collected Zamzam from the airport in Pakistan.
