Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi today visited Pakistan Embassy in Rome along with Federal Minister for Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Italy Ali Javed welcomed the federal ministers and introduced them to the embassy staff, a press release from Rome said.
Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chaudhry Salik Hussain visited the Embassy passport office and met Pakistani expatriates there and listened to their concerns.
Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain also met Mandi Bahauddin and residents of Gujrat and discussed their issues. He applied to the relevant authorities to solve the problem on the spot.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that a secure and fast system will be installed to facilitate police verification from the provinces to facilitate Pakistani citizens abroad.
He also ordered that passports be issued on time and said that emergency passports will be issued within seven days, while normal passports will be issued within thirty days.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed the embassy staff to approach their duties with sincerity and professionalism. The ministers then wrote their impressions in the guest book.
