Pakistan’s white-ball head coach, Mike Hesson, is likely to take on additional responsibilities as head coach of the national Test team for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.
According to sources, Hesson is expected to oversee Pakistan’s Test side during the two-match series scheduled for next month.
Hesson was given interim responsibility for the Test team ahead of the third Test against England. He took over the role after Sarfaraz Ahmed was removed from the position.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka are scheduled to play two Test matches, with the first Test beginning on November 9 and the second starting on November 17.
Hesson currently serves as the permanent head coach of Pakistan’s white-ball teams. His appointment for the Sri Lanka series has not yet been confirmed.
