Tarbela Ghazi: The Migrant Resource Center (MRC) Islamabad organized an awareness session in the suburban village of Mian Dheri, Tehsil Ghazi, focusing on safe and legal migration. The session aimed to provide authentic information to individuals considering migration for employment, education, or residence abroad. It also highlighted the risks and consequences associated with illegal migration.

During the session, Senior Counselor of MRC Islamabad, Mr. Tahseenullah, emphasized the importance of opting for legal migration pathways to safeguard one’s life and assets. He noted that most people choose migration to secure a better future; however, a significant reason behind illegal migration is the lack of reliable information. Many individuals mistakenly believe that illegal migration is a quicker, cheaper, and easier way to reach their desired destination, whereas the reality is quite the opposite.

Participants were informed that they could seek free advice from MRC for more details on migration-related matters. Attendees found the information highly beneficial and commended the efforts of MRC for raising awareness on such a critical issue.
