Dhudial: A meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Transport and Mass Transit Punjab, Bilal Akbar Khan, was held at the Commissioner’s Office in Rawalpindi. The meeting was attended via video link by parliamentarians, political leaders, deputy commissioners, DPOs, and district officers from all districts of Rawalpindi Division, including Chakwal.
Deputy Commissioner Qurat-ul-Ain Malik, DPO Lieutenant (Retired) Ahmed Mohiuddin, Parliamentary Secretary Chaudhry Sultan Haider Ali Khan, Parliamentary Secretary Malik Shehryar Awan, Member Provincial Assembly Malik Falak Sher Awan, representatives of MNAs, ADCG Bilal Bin Abdul Hafeez, assistant commissioners, and district officers were present.
Deputy Commissioner Qurat-ul-Ain Malik gave a detailed briefing on the Chief Minister Punjab’s initiatives and development projects in Chakwal district. She highlighted programs such as the Saaf Suthra Punjab Program, Green Tractors Scheme, Kisan Cards, Himmat Card, Livestock Card, Apna Ghar Apni Chhat Program, and Dehi Rani among others.
In the meeting, Member Provincial Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary Punjab, Chaudhry Sultan Haider Ali Khan, recommended immediate action on the shortage of medicines in District Headquarters Hospital and other hospitals, as well as the restoration of discontinued Rural Health Centers.
Member Provincial Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary Malik Shehryar Awan emphasized the immediate functionality of the Talagang district and suggested that policies in departments like education and others should be made in consultation with local political leaders to maximize public benefits.
Member Provincial Assembly Punjab Mehwish Sultana Raja proposed increasing the quota in programs under the Chief Minister’s initiatives for the underprivileged areas of Rawalpindi Division.
Provincial Minister for Transport, Bilal Akbar Khan, in his address, stressed the importance of providing maximum relief to the public through the Chief Minister Punjab’s initiatives and ensuring timely and quality execution of development projects.
