Pakistani drama industry’s beloved on-screen couple, Mawra Hussain and Ameer Gilani, have officially tied the knot. Their first wedding video and photos have surfaced online.
The couple shared their wedding pictures on Instagram on February 5, with a photoshoot held at Lahore’s historic Shahi Qila.
Mawra captioned the post, “Amidst the chaos of the world, I found you,” along with the hashtag “Mawra Ameer Ho Gayi.”
Following the announcement, fans and fellow celebrities flooded social media with congratulatory messages.
The wedding photos also featured Mawra’s parents, her sister Urwa Hussain, and brother-in-law Farhan Saeed.
On the morning of February 6, their photographer released a short wedding video showcasing glimpses of the ceremony, including Ameer’s entrance, Mawra’s arrival with her parents, and Ameer placing the ring on Mawra’s finger.
A photo of the wedding favors bag, inscribed with “Nikah Mubarak” and the couple’s names along with the date February 5, 2024, also went viral on social media.
