The Mashar Dost Network (MDN) elected Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Qasim from as its new Chairperson in a ceremony held today at Shelton House, University Town, Peshawar.
Mr. Qasim now leads MDN’s initiatives across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, focusing on senior citizens’ welfare and overseeing the Senior Citizen Council as mandated by the 2014 Senior Citizen Act, which KP was the first province to enact.
Foundation for Aging and Inclusive Development (FAID), the event marked the formal handover of MDN’s Secretariat from JKD Foundation to IDEA.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Maaz Kakahail, CEO of Foundation for Aging and Inclusive Development(FAID) along with FAID representatives Syed Sajjad and Bilal.
Mashar Dost Network (MDN) also outlined its strategic action plan for the coming quarter, reflecting its ongoing commitment to advocacy and support for senior citizens across the region.
