Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday and announced the start of advance ticket sales ahead of the film’s global theatrical release on December 18, 2026.
The trailer offers fans a first look at superheroes from multiple Marvel universes joining forces to confront a powerful new threat, setting the stage for one of the studio’s biggest releases of the year.
Star-Studded Cast Returns to the Marvel Universe
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Doomsday is produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Jonathan Schwartz.
The film features an ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Simu Liu and Channing Tatum.
Infinity Vision Format to Debut With the Film
Marvel said the film will also be released in the new Infinity Vision format, which is designed to deliver enhanced picture quality, larger-screen presentation and immersive audio for cinema audiences.
The studio confirmed that Avengers: Doomsday will open in theaters worldwide on December 18, 2026.
