Maroof International Hospital hosts Iftar to promote dialogue and community engagement

ISLAMABAD — Maroof International Hospital, in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), hosted an Iftar dinner in the Diplomatic Enclave, bringing together diplomats, government officials, law enforcement representatives, and members of civil society.

The event, held in March, aimed to promote inter-sector dialogue and highlight the hospital’s role in healthcare and community engagement.

High-level participation

The gathering was attended by Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Inspector General Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, along with senior officials.

Ambassadors and representatives from several countries, including Austria, Iran, Lebanon, the Philippines, Syria, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Azerbaijan, and others, were also present. Officials from international organizations such as the United Nations and the International Organization for Migration participated in the event.

Emphasis on unity and collaboration

Speaking on the occasion, CEO of Maroof International Hospital Haroon Naseer said such gatherings help build understanding and strengthen relationships across communities.

He said the Iftar dinner reflects the institution’s commitment to healthcare excellence, social responsibility, and fostering dialogue among diverse stakeholders.

Officials said the event underscored the importance of collaboration between public, private, and international partners in addressing social and healthcare challenges.
