MARDAN — Newly elected Senior Vice President of the Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sarlaband Khan Madani, has said that serving the business community, promoting local industries and strengthening Pak-China trade relations will remain his top priorities.
Speaking to the media, Sarlaband Khan Madani thanked Chamber Founder Haji Naseem-ur-Rehman and Group Leader Zahir Shah for expressing confidence in him. He said he would make every possible effort to honor their trust and effectively represent the interests of traders, industrialists and farmers.
He said the Chamber’s platform would be utilized to promote trade, industry and agriculture in Mardan. Seminars, exhibitions and expos would be organized to familiarize local businesses with modern technologies, emerging markets, investment opportunities and export prospects.
Sarlaband Khan highlighted the significant potential of Mardan’s solar, furniture, marble and agricultural sectors. He said dedicated exhibitions in these fields could help local entrepreneurs explore new markets, attract investment and promote Mardan-made products at national and international levels.
He also stressed the importance of creating employment opportunities for young people, strengthening local industries and improving coordination between the government and the business community.
Speaking about Pak-China relations, Sarlaband Khan said the Mardan Chamber had organized a ceremony to commemorate China’s National Day and pay tribute to the longstanding and time-tested friendship between Pakistan and China.
He said enhanced trade, industrial and economic cooperation between the two countries could create new opportunities for businesses and contribute to regional prosperity.
Sarlaband Khan Madani said the Pak-China friendship was based not only on government-to-government relations but also on strong bonds of mutual respect and goodwill between the people of both countries.
He congratulated the Chinese government, people and business community on China’s National Day and expressed hope that bilateral trade and economic relations would continue to expand.
The newly elected Senior Vice President reiterated that the Mardan Chamber would continue raising genuine issues faced by the business community at relevant forums while working for the growth of trade, industry, agriculture and broader economic activity in Mardan.
