Timergara: More than 2 crore children in the country are deprived of education, and enrolling them in schools is nothing less than a challenge. Development without education is not possible, and competing with other nations requires mastery of modern knowledge and science and technology. Private educational institutions play a vital role in spreading the light of education. These views were expressed by the Chairman of Malakand Education Board, Muhammad Naseem Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bashir Khan, Sartaj Khan, Human Rights President of Malakand Division and Pashtun National Jirga Organizer Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Dr. Maulana Inayatullah Islahi, and others during the inauguration ceremony of Luminous International School and College Shehzadi. They emphasized the universally acknowledged importance of education and noted that no sector can progress without it. Education is the heritage of Muslims, but unfortunately, it has been adopted by others, who are now ruling the world. They stated that becoming a doctor or engineer is not the only goal; other fields and professions must also be focused on. Private educational institutions have undeniably served the cause of education, and they should support underprivileged students by granting them free admission, enabling them to be equipped with education and contribute to the country’s development. They further mentioned that the establishment of private educational institutions should not solely aim to earn money but should focus on providing quality education to students, who are the nation’s future. Ignorance can only be eradicated through the light of education, and competing with the world requires mastering modern science and technology.
